Total Listings are steady, as venues change

The chart below shows the total listings currently being promoted across the auctions, though we expect the field to grow in the coming weeks – Bonhams, notably, has yet to release its full catalog. While the overall listing count sits roughly level with last year, a few shifts stand out beneath the surface: RM Sotheby’s docket has slimmed down somewhat from 2025, while Mecum has a larger catalog.

The more notable story, though, isn’t the numbers – it’s the venues. This year, Broad Arrow takes over The Quail auction, a fixture long held by Bonhams. In turn, Bonhams moves to Laguna Seca for its first sale at the famed race track, extending the field and bringing fresh energy to Monterey week.

Note: Bonhams data in these charts is estimated. their catalog is not finalized yet.
