Market Report: November 2025

November always feels quieter in the collector car world, and that is normal. Q4 historically eases off after the energy of summer auctions and early fall sales. Fewer listings change hands, inboxes slow down a bit, and the market takes a breath before the new year.

Here is the part that matters. Even in this slower stretch, we are still seeing year over year growth across every major metric. More cars sold, more dollar volume, and steady pricing tell the same story we have been watching all year. This is not a market losing steam. It is a healthy, active market doing what it always does in the fourth quarter.

That makes November a bit of a sleeper opportunity. Sellers are still finding buyers, and buyers are facing less competition than they will in Q1 when auctions, tax refunds, and fresh optimism kick things back into high gear. If you are shopping, this is the calm before the storm. If you are selling, serious buyers are still very much in the game.

Consider this your reminder that “slow” does not mean “sleepy.” It means strategic. Start your search now and get ahead of the crowd before the market wakes up again in the new year.

Top 10 Sales in November 2025

The Top 10 Sales for November tell a familiar story at the very top. Eight of the ten came through RM Sotheby’s, continuing a run that has defined the high end of the market all year. When the stakes are highest, the same names keep showing up, and buyers keep showing up with them.

But scroll a little further down the list and things get more interesting. The ninth and tenth highest sales of the month happened online. That is not an anomaly, and it is not new. It is a reminder that serious money continues to flow through digital platforms, right alongside the marquee auction rooms.

The takeaway is simple: The ultra-high end remains concentrated, but the broader market is still very much in play. Big results are happening in more places than ever, and November’s Top 10 makes that hard to ignore.

Top 10 Flips & Flops in November 2025

Each month, we track “Flips” and “Flops,” which we define as cars with documented previous sale records. This enables us to calculate the net gain or loss and the time elapsed since the last sale. While some purists argue that a genuine Flip/Flop occurs only within a 12-month timeframe from the previous sale, we believe this list offers entertainment and valuable insights that a narrower window would overlook. Admittedly, it’s plausible that cars have changed hands in private transactions between these public listings; nonetheless, this data provides valuable insights into which cars have realized significant gains or losses compared to their previous sales. Enjoy this data at your own discretion.

* A Market on CLASSIC.COM is a grouping of comparable vehicles that have, at a minimum, the same Make, Model, and Model Generation. When relevant for purposes of valuation, a Market may be further segmented by Model Variant, Trim, Transmission Type, Body Style, and other factors.

**The CLASSIC.COM Market Benchmark (CMB) is a benchmark value for vehicles in a given Market based on data accumulated by CLASSIC.COM and calculated by a proprietary algorithm that takes into account volume and recency of each data point. CMB can be used to assess the performance of a market over a given time period. However, it does not represent the value of a specific vehicle.
